Currently Seeking:
Commercial Sales Associate, Ottawa/Perth, Full-Time
Storm has an immediate opening for a Commercial Sales Associate in Ottawa/Perth. This is a full-time, hybrid work model role. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, and working out of one of our three offices, you will be responsible for all aspects of commercial sales, owning the client relationship from initial contact to the close of the sale and beyond.
This will include following up on leads, generating referrals and customizing Storm’s internet solutions to fit the client’s requirements.
The ideal candidate is results-driven, assertive, and motivated to build relationships with their customer base. You have a talent for seeing and creating opportunities, and you are a confident self-starter, possessing strong organization and follow-up skills. A true sales professional, you understand the important balance between customer empathy and company focus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell telecommunications products and services to businesses.
- Develop business relationships with current and potential clients.
- Work with a vertical sales focus, targeting specific industries within your sales area.
- Cold call, lead generation, network and obtain referrals both in-person and by phone.
- Design customized solutions for clients.
- Deliver accurate and cost-effective quotes to close the deal.
- Keep abreast of current technology trends,
- Research and capture competitor intelligence and forward this information to Storm Internet’s marketing team.
- Maintain and update a sales database and prepare sales report
- Other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience selling fibre, DSL and cable technology solutions.
- Proven ability to manage sales cycles utilizing solution-selling and consultative selling techniques.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills as well as follow-through.
- Initiative, drive and enthusiasm, coupled with solid problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to communicate both verbally and written to a diverse client base.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Ability and willingness to travel within our clientele area. You must have a class G license and access to a reliable vehicle with a clean driving record (a car allowance will be provided).
- French communication skills are an asset.

Currently Seeking:
Field Service Technician, Ottawa/Chesterville, Full-Time
Storm Internet Services has immediate openings for full-time Field Service Technicians based out of our Ottawa and Chesterville offices.
Reporting to the Manager of Field Operations, the Field Service Technician will assist in expanding Storm Internet’s wireless network and customer base in the Ottawa Valley South region. Duties will include conducting residential and commercial site surveys, installations, repairs, and infrastructure maintenance and upgrades.
Qualified candidates will be physically fit, mechanically inclined, tech savvy, enjoy working outdoors and have no fear of heights. A clean driver’s abstract is required and a criminal background check will be performed.
Previous wireless experience or education in a relevant electro-mechanical technician program will be considered as desirable assets.
Proof of Covid-19 vaccination (minimum 2 doses) is required for employment.
Storm Internet will provide Climbing-at-Heights certification and other job-related training as required.
Currently Seeking:
Client Service Representative, Ottawa/Perth/Chesterville, Part-Time
Storm has an immediate opening for a Client Service Representative (CSR) who is available to work a variety of shifts based out of Storm’s Ottawa, Chesterville, or Perth offices. This is a part-time, hybrid work model role. You will be supporting Storm’s residential clients in a call centre environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Includes technical troubleshooting with clients calling to resolve concerns related to their internet/network connectivity and email. Liaise with internal departments to investigate and escalate technical issues as appropriate, as well as documentation trouble tickets and technical issues on client accounts.
The successful applicant should be able to interact with clients professionally but in a friendly manner, be able to work under pressure, possess excellent communications skills (reading and writing), problem solving and be available to work days, evenings and weekends as the schedule is published. Basic knowledge of home networking, email and VOIP technologies are an asset.
Any related experience in a call centre environment would be considered a definite asset. This part-time position could lead to full-time employment if you are the right candidate. Storm offers a wide range of corporate benefits to all of its full-time employees.
